Kristen is an impact-driven product leader, technologist, and 3x founder who builds products and communities for developers, startups, and SMBs. She is currently a Principal Product Manager at Microsoft, where she leads the Azure Developer CLI (azd). Previously, she’s held senior product leadership roles at Microsoft, Best Buy, and LeadPages, working extensively on API platforms and developer experiences. Kristen has founded and built multiple companies, including Hack the Gap (acquired in 2019), Mina, and Night Sky Web Co. Beyond her industry work, she serves on nonprofit and higher education boards, advises organizations focused on birth equity, and teaches coding to students in grades 3–8. A frequent writer and speaker, her work has been featured across leading tech publications and events, and she was named a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.
